The pairing of current Champion William Mains and inaugural winning co-driver back in 2013, Claire Williams, is proving successful as they top the leaderboard after Round Three. The pair took a Class victory of over six minutes coming home just outside the Top 10 in the Nova ahead of far more powerful cars.
Will shares top place with current FMP Tarmac Champion Richard Merriman who, with Kath Curzon pipped fellow contenders Marcus Pagett and Rhys Stoneman to fourth overall by just 4 seconds. With a little bad luck lately Marcus showed the true potential of the Nissan Micra Kit Car with its ‘shoehorned’ in 2 litre engine.

Rallynyuts Stages Preview
With just one gravel and two sealed surface events having taken place, plus 8 contenders scoring overseas points on the West Cork Rally the current leaderboard is heavily weighed toward the tarmac crews. It is now the turn of regular gravel contenders to re-dress the balance on the Rallynuts Stages based in the Showground, Builth Wells on April 13th. With at least 16 contenders achieving Top 3 class positions on the Cambrian Rally and 40 Contenders already entered for the ‘Rallynuts’, the Top 10 in the Championship is set to change significantly in the Mid Wales forests.
